What is a wedding second line?
For a wedding, it is a celebratory procession inspired by New Orleans brass-band tradition: the band leads, and the couple and guests follow. We can discuss a route within your venue; any use of public streets needs the relevant approvals.
Can you replace our DJ or full reception band?
Start by asking about a featured brass performance. Do not assume an all-evening reception package, MC, ceremony sound system, or DJ service is included. Adam will confirm exactly what the proposed booking covers.
Can we request a special song?
Send the title and the moment it is for when you inquire. Adam will confirm whether the arrangement and preparation are possible before promising the song.
Can we have a second line indoors?
Ask your venue first. The route, room size, sound limits, access, and safety need to work for both musicians and guests. Share those details so an appropriate plan can be discussed.
How much does it cost to book Blacktop Brass?
